What’s New for the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?
Like many other automakers, Nissan opted to add only touch-up features to the Pathfinder in the latest model year. In 2019, the Pathfinder has a slightly higher price tag, but it is also equipped with more standard features than in the past. Furthermore, you’ll get more safety technology than before, and the Pathfinder certainly keeps up with modern times with the technology that it offers to both drivers and passengers.
This year, the Pathfinder comfortably seats up to seven passengers. It has an impressive towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds, which makes it ready for adventure whenever you are. On the outside, a slight design change with accentuated lights, curved edges, and more aerodynamic profile give the Pathfinder a head turning look.
Which Pathfinder Features are Available for 2019?
In 2019, there are four trim levels of the Nissan Pathfinder to choose from. The base model is called the S. Like the other trims, it is offered in either a two-wheel drive or a front-wheel-drive configuration. The S features a number of desirable standard amenities, including a tri-zone climate control and a flexible seating system with a split-folding second row of seats. The base model also has an eight-inch infotainment screen. It also comes with a complimentary three-month subscription to satellite radio. A rearview monitor and remote keyless entry are other highlights of the base model.
The second-highest trim is the SV. From the outside, you’ll be able to distinguish this trim by its bright fog lights. It also has a remote engine start for convenience. Additional safety features, including blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert, are standard amenities on this trim level of the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. As you’re cruising down the highway, integrated intelligent cruise control helps you maintain a safe distance from the car ahead. The SL gives you even more in the way of standard features. It has heated and leather front seats, which make any ride more enjoyable, no matter how far you’re going.
Other standard highlights include a motion-activated lift-gate and LED headlights for premier visibility. Instead of just a regular backup camera, you’ll get a surround-vision monitor in this trim level. Finally, the highest -level Platinum trim offers even more. With this trim, you’ll get 20-inch, head-turning wheels as standard features. The sound system is upgraded in this trim to a rich-sounding Bose system with 13 speakers. Year-round, front-seat passengers will ride comfortably with both heated and cooled front seats. A panoramic sunroof that lets the sun in, completes this trim’s standard features.
